Job Resume

Fang Liang , earned his MSc and PhD degree, is a Prof, a member of editor board of TRIBOTEST (France), an editor member of Foundry Technology (China), a member of editor board of tribology (China), a member of Materials Failure Analysis Branch in Chinese Society for Metals, a member of Tibology Commission of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society as well as a senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering. His major is Materials Science and Engineering.

Academic Activities
He has published over 50 papers in the world, 14 of which have been recruited by the SCI and 26 by the EI. One of his research projects has been awarded by the State Education Ministry in 1997. He got one activity participant award medal from the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, two awarded medals of excellent work from the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, Academia, Sinica, one silver medal of the State High Education Achievement and one golden medal of the State Excellent Textbook.

1981 -1984 Engaged with research on abrasive wear and fracture behavior of chromium family white cast iron
1984 -1991 Engaged with research on three-body abrasion theory
1991 -1997 Engaged with research on tribology of ceramics matched with cast iron funded by the State Natural Science Foundation and China-Ford Research Development Foundation
1997 -1998 Engaged with research on abrasive wear of hard metal and ceramics funded by the DTI in UK
1998 -2000 Engaged with research on tribological behavior of glassy phase in silicon nitride funded by the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, Academia, Sinica
2000 -2001 Engaged with research on effect of ceramics surface roughness on tribological properties funded by the DFG in Germany and also research on computer stochastic simulation of abrasive wear process funded by the State Education Ministry and the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, Academia, Sinica
2002 -Present Engaged with research on computer stochastic simulation of abrasive wear process funded by the State Education Ministry and the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, Academia, Sinica and also research on tribological behavior of biomaterial in Keio University, Japan.
