应能动学院刘志刚教授邀请，国际热物性领域的著名学者、美国化学学会刊物《Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data》主编K. N. Marsh 教授将于2005年8月6日～8月10日来西安交通大学讲学，他将做四次公开讲座：
    Topic 1：Recent progress on transport properties of fluids, including viscosity and thermal conductivity;

附K. N. Marsh 教授简介： K. N. Marsh 教授毕业于澳大利亚University of New England，获博士学位，专业为物理化学，为国际热物性领域的著名学者。目前担任美国化学学会著名刊物《Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data》主编，International Association of Chemical Thermodynamics的主席和International Union of Pure and Application Chemistry Project on Thermodynamics of Ionic Liquids, Ionic Liquid Mixtures and the Development of Standardized Systems 的主席。曾担任《Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics》、《Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data》等著名国际刊物的编委，International Union of Pure and Application Chemistry多个分会的委员和Texas A&M University的热物性研究中心的主席以及多届国际热物性会议的主席。研究领域为：流体及流体混合物热物性测量，有机化合物及其混合物热物性的预估。到目前为止，在国际著名刊物上发表论文154篇，绝大部分为SCI检索，著作25部。
