美国Georgia Institute of Technology机械工程和材料科学与工程系的Dr. Min Zhou教授将于6月8日（星期二）下午3：00在机械结构强度与振动重点实验室举办学术讲座。
    地点：教－楼南208室。
    讲座内容涉及：
    1．At the nanometer scale, recent progress toward the understanding of behavior of nanowires and toward the linkage between discrete atomistic models and continuum mechanics representations. Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, etc.
    2．At the microscopic scale, recent research progress in analysis of microscopic fracture processes in heterogeneous microstructures;
    3．At the engineering scale, experiments based on laser interferometry and high-speed photography to measure the damage and deformation of the layered materials such as composite laminates.
