应我校能源与动力工程学院院长、动力工程多相流国家重点实验室主任郭烈锦教授的邀请，美国国家科学院、国家工程院、国家艺术科学院三院院士、明尼苏达大学航天与力学工程系D.D.Joseph教授于5月3日至5月18日来我校访问讲学。
    D.D.Joseph教授是美国国家科学院、国家工程院、国家艺术科学院三院院士，在多相流科学领域有着深厚的造诣，是国际多相流领域公认的学术权威，声誉卓著。在其长期的学术生涯中，获得过众多的荣誉及奖励，曾担任多种国际著名学术期刊的编委，研究成果丰硕。我校已批准聘任D.D.Joseph教授为名誉教授。
